For 8th graders, Herrick PTA sponsors a six-week Dance & Etiquette (a.k.a Fortnightly) class.
Students Learn the Basics of Social Etiquette and Dance while hanging with their friends. The class includes:
Etiquette Essentials: Basic etiquette and conversation skills
Social Dancing Instruction: Learn how to cut a rug in any social situation
Table Manners: Learn the basics of proper dining etiquette.
Classes are Fridays from 7-8:30pm (January 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22)
Final Etiquette Class Dinner and Dance, Thursday February 28th 6-9pm
Final Class includes a catered, sit-down dinner where students can practice their table etiquette and social skills. Following dinner students will review the dances learned and finish out the night with a dance party.
Cost of Five Week Class & Dinner: $40.00 Per Student
All classes held at Herrick Middle School. Skirts or dresses are encouraged for girls, dress slacks with shirt and tie encouraged for boys. No jeans, low riding pants, t-shirts, athletic clothing or gym shoes. Let’s keep it classy! Any questions, please contact Katie Courtney: email@example.com
